Hydro Jetter/Sewer Line and Septic Field Technician
Responsibilities:
Visit personal and commercial properties using company-provided
vehicles or personal transportation to perform sewer line and
septic inspections.
Operate hydro jetters and perform camera inspections of sewer
lines
Conduct septic inspection services.
Utilize a sewer scope camera attached to a flexible cable to
meticulously examine sewer lines and capture video footage of
potential damage, blockages, and other issues.
Compile detailed reports for homeowners, home inspectors, real
estate companies, and property management firms.
Maintain and clean equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
during fieldwork
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Operate sewer/septic scope cameras and other inspection equipment
to assess the condition of septic systems, including tanks,
baffles, and drain fields on a variety of homes and commercial
properties.
Identify and diagnose issues such as blockages, cracks, corrosion,
or structural damage, ensuring compliance with local regulations
and/or industry standards.
Report findings verbally, as well as, creating a detailed report
using our app-based report software.
Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and external
clients.
Maintain a clean jobsite as well as keeping all equipment and tools
clean and secure.
Continue to learn and grow within the role and company.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a
customer-centric approach.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in septic system inspection, plumbing, or a
related field.
Experience using cable mounted push cameras and other inspection
tools.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data
collection and reporting.
Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team
members effectively.
A valid driver's license.
Ability to travel within the Phoenix metro area.
DMV and Background check required.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a
team environment.
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn how to operate
technical equipment.
Strong time management skills to efficiently handle tasks and
appointments.
Septic Inspection license or equivalent credential is a plus but
not required.
