Job Description:
Volt is immediately hiring Engineering Technician in (Tempe,
AZ)As a Engineering Technician you will be responsible to: Performs
a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical,
electromechanical, and/or optical areas.Assists in the design,
construction, test and check-out of test equipment.Constructs,
troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains
equipment, components, devices, or systems.Works from schematics,
operating or repair manuals, engineering drawings and written or
verbal instructions.May work with complex machines or computer
systems.Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data
in prescribed format.Performs calibration and alignment checks;
makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed;
prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. Overall SummaryFully
proficient support individual contributor.Works under limited
supervision.May be a resource to other employees in areas of
expertise.Assignments are moderately difficult requiring some
judgment. Nature of SupervisionWorks under limited supervision.Less
detailed instructions are provided and minimal peer review is
required. Communication & InfluenceCommunicates with contacts
typically within and outside the department on matters that involve
obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or
interpretation to understand and reach agreement.May be a resource

Education & ExperienceRequires fully proficient job
knowledge/skills.Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a
minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years
post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior
related experience. This is a 12 Month full time Contract or
Contract to hire opportunity. Pay Range: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
