• Travelers may need additional certification depending on unit requirements.
  • Job Details
  • 16.0 weeks contract length.
    • Job Requirements
    • ACLS, BLS required.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months.
    • Must be able to read strips.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts are 12 hours, 7-7.
      • 4 weekend shifts per 4 week period required. One major and minor holiday.
      • 2 shifts of floor specific orientation.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Charge nurse: Yes, does not take patients.
        • Nurse Aides: PCTS on days and 1 PCT or SWAT RN at night to task.
        • Floating: Expected to float to MedSurg Tele C5 and B2D.
        • Common diagnosis/Types of patients: General MedSurg patients that require tele monitoring.
        • IV Team: No. House SWAT Nurse available for hard IV sticks.
        • RT 24/7: Yes
        • Pharmacy 24/7: Yes, with ICU Pharmacist covering on days.
          • Additional Details
          • Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (WITH 2 MAX ATTEMPTS), within 48 hours of offer.
          • There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions).
