Position Details:
Title: Data Center Technician
Location: Phoenix, AZ; Ashburn, VA
Shift: Day shift
Compensation: $35/hr - $45/hr

Position Description:
In this role you will support the installation and maintenance of all electrical, electronic, mechanical, and heating & cooling critical infrastructure. The technician will provide support to all SUPERNAP facility operations teams when assigned. This team member will work to find creative ways to keep operational costs to a minimum and will work outside of the box with team members to improve efficiency. Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems that may be employed in a data center environment. This may include electrical feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, DC power systems, ATS/STS units, PDU units, air handling units, cooling towers, and fire suppression systems.

Essential Responsibilities:
--- Installation, maintenance, and repair of critical infrastructure
--- On-call responsibility when qualified and designated
--- Provide requested reporting and documentation.
--- Support of facility, development, and construction teams
--- Respond to customer requests, power, cooling, and facility audits.
--- Investigate any power, communication, or cooling anomalies.

--- Electronics Technicians (Aviation, Conventional, Communication, and Nuclear)
--- Electricians Mate (Aviation, Conventional, and Nuclear)
--- Power Production Specialist
--- Machinist Mate (Aviation, Conventional, and Nuclear)
--- Gas Turbine Electricians and Mechanics
--- Sonar Technicians
--- Valid state driver's license.
